well as the added attraction of fishing villages and beaches. Villa Fresca
is near the bay of Cala Piccola. It is built on a rocky cliff face 80 meters
above the sea. The villa has terraced patios and gardens set below it among

diving board. The views are spectacular from all vantage points. There are
200 steps down to the sea. The house, which is on three levels, has a large

a hilltop of Chianti near Florence in a property of 175 hectares. Guests

large rooms and furnishings that are not luxurious, but sober and
comfortable, in keeping with the general layout of the house. The kitchen
still preserves some typical features of the traditional country kitchens
in Tuscany (stone sink, old hearth). To all this, add the nearness to many
points of historic, artistic and cultural interest, and Certaldo Villa
becomes a perfect setting for a Tuscan holiday. In an old but perfect

broad open air terrace, ideal for dining al fresco and savoring the stunning
