Coastal areas of Tuscany: The Versilia between the northwest coast and the mountains has a mild climate, beautiful resorts with sandy beaches along the coast, ideal for children and beach vacations, with many outdoor activities available. With miles of sandy beaches. The main seaside resort is Viareggio, and there is the elegant, exclusive resort of Forte dei Marmi, and Marina di Pietrasanta, Marina di Massa and Marina di Carrara. The Argentario Promontory, The promontory, with high rocky cliffs, to the north is the main resort of Santo Stefano.  On the south coast, are Porto Ercole and nearby exclusive Cala Galera.
