The house sits just a mile from Karystos a lively and authentic Greek fishing village of 10,000 inhabitants that has shops, restaurants, fresh seafood, and seaside tavernas, traditional bouzoki as well as two nightclubs. The nearby countryside offers a chance to go even deeper into real Greek life,  with many small villages following their classical customs.
