The dusty rose colored two-story neo-classical main manor house was originally constructed by a Greek ship owner in the 1830`s and recently fully renovated, along with a beautiful newly-constructed swimming pool and poolhouse in 1996. The owner is a well known Greek archaeologist and the homes, grounds and gardens are lovingly renovated and cared for with special attention to detail and you will find valuable antiques and period pieces throughout. The large fresh water swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace and pool house and there is a large terrace off the main villa with dining table and barbecue perfect for lingering meals `al fresco`. In the gardens there is also a small pond and a charming well. This serene retreat is a short walk from some of the finest beaches on the island. The main villa has four bedrooms (3 twin bedded bedrooms and the large master bedroom) each with en-suite bathroom done in white marble and its own private access to spacious balconies. The ground floor of the main villa features an all-round glass windows conservatory, an entrance hall, main living and dining room, wc for guests, twin bedroom with en suite bathroom, fully equipped kitchen. On the 1st you will find the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom and large spacious balcony with views of the nearby church, on the other side of the 1st floor are 2 twin bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom and access to a large balcony with views onto the garden. There are marble floors on the ground floor and wooden floors on the first floor and the whole house is decorated in contemporary high standards with authentic pieces furniture. The guest house, located across the garden, is made up of: An apartment with living room with 2 built-in sofa beds and open plan kitchenette, 1 twin bedroom, and 1 bathroom. A studio apartment consisting of a twin bedroom with kitchenette, and 1 bathroom. A room with double bed and 1 bathroom. In the pool house there is 1 twin bedroom with bathroom. Syros Island Estate is located in Dellagrazia (also known as Possidonia), 7 miles from from the capital of Syros, Ermoupolis, 500 meters from a sandy beach. Within walking distance there are other sandy beaches, two restaurants and other tavernas, and yacht harbor. This wonderful estate is an ideal getaway for families or friends. |
