This lovely house is a staff favorite, due to
the sublime combination of such a tranquil setting and idyllic central location. The house
sits several miles off a small road on several hundred acres of private land and is
perched on a hillside overlooking rolling green farmland, grazing deer, and a small pond.
Inside is the large living room with picture windows on three walls for the views,
Persian
rugs, classic antique wooden dining table, authentic wood beam ceilings (w/ bright, modern
skylights), stylish and comfortable furnishings and proper modern accessories (including
large screen tv, vcr, dishwasher, microwave, etc). There is a large, fully-equipped
gourmet kitchen, with classic wood burning pizza over and total modern accessories. Also
on the main floor is a large (70 sq. ft bathroom, jacuzzi tub), a library/studio bedroom,
and the heated indoor swimming pool. Downstairs you will find the large master bedroom
with sitting area, fireplace and French doors to terrace, a double bedroom w/ en suite
bathroom and terrace doors, additional kitchenette, laundry room, and one bedroom w/ two
single beds. Well-tended gardens and outdoor eating/sunbathing areas.
LOCATION: Savor all Italia from this fabulous farmhouse in phenomenal location
near the Umbrian-Tuscany border and in some of Italy's most beautiful countryside AND
within easy reach of all the most desirable sites, just 8 miles outside of enchanting
Gubbio, less than 20 miles to Perugia, one of Italy's most wonderful medieval fortified
cities, only 1.5 hours to Rimini's beaches on the Adriatic Coast, 2 hours from Florence,
2.5 hours from Rome, and 4 hours from Venice. If you can bring yourself to leave the
stunning views from the house.
